Taranis is a Celtic deity worshipped by the Celts of Gaul, the British Isles, and the Rhineland and Danube regions. Although there are no sufficient written records of the Celts about their deities and traditions, numerous objects and statues thought to represent this deity have been found. Taranis is the father of important Celtic deities such as Brigid, Brian and Goibniu, and considered one of this pantheon leaders. This conclusion was drawn after this god’s association with Nordic deity Thor and the Roman deity Jupiter. Some also associate him with Brontes, the cyclops.
It is the god associated with lightning, thunder, thunderstorms and great storms. However, they also associate it with fertility and fecundity brought after these storms that give rise to the water of life. Frequently he is represented by thunder in one hand and the wheel of life with its 8 spokes in the other. This wheel also represented the seasons.
With the strength of the god Taranis, SulisLuna relied on creating a solution that promotes the energy needed to overcome daily challenges and enjoy life with more pleasure.
